Sister Miner PLEASE READ... And Everyone Else:)

Hey everyone!

  


  This week has been amazing. So much better than last week and actually I am going to be so sad when I leave the MTC. 



  My neighbors sent me tortilla chips, queso, and salsa last week which was super nice of them but the only problem was that the chips came first and by the time the queso arrived all the chips were gone then by the time the salsa came we had bought another bag of chips and finished that one too.



  I really lucked out in the roommate department. We stay up far too late every night talking and laughing and I love them so much. Sister Montague and Sister Sorenson are heading to the Mormon Battalion on Monday and I am going to miss them so much. 



  Peter M. Johnson of the Seventy came and spoke to us last Tuesday in our devotional. One thing he said to me that stuck out was a quote by President Nielson "You are perfectly positioned to find the children of Israel". This made me think of when I opened my mission call. The idea of going to Hawaii never crossed my mind but as soon as I saw I was going to Laie Hawaii I knew that serving the people of Hawaii was exactly where God needed me.



  Next time you get an email from me I will be in Hawaii

First Week Of The Last Transfer

This is the first week of my last transfer. I can't believe it! Where did the time go? Sister Drury and I are staying together as Visitors Center Trainers and I could not be more excited. It's going to be a great last 6 weeks. Highs/Lows of the week: ☆We had our first lesson with Kennedy this week and it went so so well. She is such a faithful person. Her boyfriend, who is a member, was telling us that she is always encouraging him to go to church. Kennedy was so cute and took notes throughout the whole lesson so she wouldn't forget anything ☆There was THE BIGGEST SPIDER I have ever seen at the Visitors Center. I am sure it could have eaten me if it was hungry enough. One of the senior Elders was so brave and killed it for us. He is a true life saver ☆We got a shipment in of the Book of Mormon in Navajo. 1st edition! Yummiest Taco Soup Ever!

Highs/Lows from the week: ☆I had interviews with President Bassett yesterday and it was great ☆we saw a spider tie up a fly then kill it. Kinda cool but it was inside our house so then we vacuumed them both up. RIP the fly ☆lots of exchanges ☆One of our members girlfriend wants to take the lessons so we are excited to start teaching her ☆everytime we cook we get a million flies in our house. I think there might be a hole in the window screen. ☆we gave a tour to a lady named Elizabeth at the visitors center and at the end of the tour she says "so is there a place I can go to learn more?" Why yes Elizabeth, there is a place you can go to learn more.:) She wasn't interested in staying in contact with us but we gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon and showed her the church's website.
