My P Day Is Now On Saturday...Forgot To Press Send:/

Aloha Everyone! I am finally in HAWAII and let me just say it is BEAUTIFUL here! The view is crazy and I feel so lucky that I get to live here in Laie for the next 18 months:)) 



I left the MTC Monday morning to fly out to Hawaii. I had to say goodbye to the best roomies EVER!! Bawled my eyes out when I left but I know that Sister Sorenson and sister Montague are going to do absolutely AMAZING things at the Mormon Battalion.



To be honest I can't remember much of what I have done this week. Its all kinda a blur haha. I started shifts at the temple visitors center, the teaching center, and yesterday we did our first tram tour at the Polynesian Culture Center. Still trying to get the hang of it but my trainer, Sister Mickelsen is amazing and has taught me so much already.



I'm serving in a YSA ward so I am not being fed every night by the members, which is probably a good thing, but there has still been lots of nice people buying us our food or having us join there family dinners when they see us walking around. The spirit of Aloha is such a real thing and you can feel it so much here. I have already fallen in love with the people here and it hasn't even been a week.



I absolutely loved Kevin W. Pearson's talk in conference so everyone go listen to it. My favorite quote he gave was "Decipeship is not cheap because the companionship of God is priceless".



I love getting emails and letters hearing about people's days so if you ever want to email me and tell me about your day I would love it! I don't care how boring haha.

First Week Of The Last Transfer

This is the first week of my last transfer. I can't believe it! Where did the time go? Sister Drury and I are staying together as Visitors Center Trainers and I could not be more excited. It's going to be a great last 6 weeks. Highs/Lows of the week: ☆We had our first lesson with Kennedy this week and it went so so well. She is such a faithful person. Her boyfriend, who is a member, was telling us that she is always encouraging him to go to church. Kennedy was so cute and took notes throughout the whole lesson so she wouldn't forget anything ☆There was THE BIGGEST SPIDER I have ever seen at the Visitors Center. I am sure it could have eaten me if it was hungry enough. One of the senior Elders was so brave and killed it for us. He is a true life saver ☆We got a shipment in of the Book of Mormon in Navajo. 1st edition! Yummiest Taco Soup Ever!

Highs/Lows from the week: ☆I had interviews with President Bassett yesterday and it was great ☆we saw a spider tie up a fly then kill it. Kinda cool but it was inside our house so then we vacuumed them both up. RIP the fly ☆lots of exchanges ☆One of our members girlfriend wants to take the lessons so we are excited to start teaching her ☆everytime we cook we get a million flies in our house. I think there might be a hole in the window screen. ☆we gave a tour to a lady named Elizabeth at the visitors center and at the end of the tour she says "so is there a place I can go to learn more?" Why yes Elizabeth, there is a place you can go to learn more.:) She wasn't interested in staying in contact with us but we gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon and showed her the church's website.
