Heyyy

This week has been super slow when it comes to missionary work. We find most of our friends when the Polynesian Culture Center brings trams to the Visitors Center but most of our shifts this week were during the morning which is when the trams aren't running. It's OK though because it gave me time to practice teaching and I was able to get to know the other sisters better.

My companion got to go to Pearl Harber for a end of mission (she has 4 weeks left) service project so I was put in a trio for the day with the other sisters I live with. I have decided that I have too much fun in trios and that if I am ever put in an actual trio I will not be getting any work done, I can not focus haha.

We went to food fest this week which was soo fun! All the different culture clubs at BYU-H make food from their country and sell it at these booths in front of the school. All the food is so yummy and its a great way to check in on your YSA member because everyone from the town shows up. I got some food from the Mongolian booth and the Fijian booth which were both so FIRE but my favorite thing I got was homemade ice cream with strawberries from the Hawaiian booth. So so yummy.

Tonight we have transfer news so everyone in the mission gets together and they will do a slide show to tell us who will be companions, where we will be living, and what wards/branches we will be in. I guess I will let you guys know next week if I am staying with my companion or not. Also my P day might change depending on what area I am over.

I posted my first Facebook post this week. Kinda excited:) while I was looking for what to post about I came across a talk by Sister Jennifer Kearon from a young adult devotional back in 2018. She said in her talk "Your worth is infinite, and so is God's love for you." I know that it is easy to feel like you don't matter. I have definitely felt that way in my life and I know others have too, but when you know that you are a child of God, that automatically gives you a purpose to life. I have found it super comforting to know that God is always watching out for you and he will always loves you.

Here is my address if anyone wants to send me a Chip cookie...just kidding. If you want to send me a letter or pictures of life I would not be upset haha.
