Surprise! My P Day Is On Wednesdays Now:)

Hey Everyone!

Transfer news was Saturday night. The whole mission gathers together at the Visitors Center in one of the theaters and we watch a slide show of all the companionships for the next transfer. It's really fun to all be together to see where everyone is going to be for the next 4 weeks. I am no longer in my YSA branch which I am soo sad about. I loved all of the branch members and am so sad to be leaving them. Everyone pray I get put back in Sunset YSA branch:) I also got a new companion, her name is Sister Alapa and she is AMAZING! We are in a family ward so I will be fed ALOT! I'm quite scared not going to lie. We already have 3 Thanksgiving dinners planned for Thanksgiving Day and knowing Polynesian families I will have to eat alot, if anyone has any tips and tricks to help me not die send them my way. Thanks so much:/

Because the Visitors Center is open everyday all the Sisters here in the Laie Hawaii Mission have different P days depending on what zone they are in. With transfers this week I got moved to a different zone so my p days are now Wednesdays.

For FHE this week the YSA branch made me and my companion Sister Mickelsen heart attack boxes as a little farewell gift. About made me cry, I am going to miss them so much. It's crazy how much you come to love the people in such a short amount of time.

Yesterday was transfer day. Moving was super hard. I had to move ALL my stuff from one side of the duplex ALL THE WAY TO THE OTHER SIDE. Talk about an exhausting day. Now I know how my Grandpa felt when he had to walk to school uphill both ways.

My mission president invited all the missionaires to read the 4 gospels in the NEW Testament by Christmas. I have never read any of the books in the New Testament so I was excited when he gave us this challenge. In my reading I read Matthew 4:19-20 which says, "And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men. And they straightway left their nets, and followed him."

What are you willing to leave behind to follow Jesus Christ?
