Merry Christmas:)

I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas! Here is a quick run down of my week for you all:



-we had "a night in Bethlehem" dinner with a family and they set the area up so cute

-last week one of the sisters I live with told us she isn't getting any gifts from her family for Christmas so me and Sister Alapa went shopping for her and did a secret Santa. It was probably my favorite part of this week

-at our missionary training meeting they invited us to be more bold in our interaction with people in our area, Sister Alapa and I took this to heart and were able to find 5 new friends last week. God loves effort!!

-christmas eve we had breakfast as a district 

-ate acai

-called my family on Christmas and got to open gifts with them, Tori gave me the cutest keychain with a nutcracker on it♡

-my goal is to be able to do 1000 jump on my jump rope for my work out, yesterday I did 555. I will let you know next week how I'm doing

-I'm speaking in church this sunday, everyone pray that I don't collapse and die up on the pulpit 



We had a christmas devotional this week and one of the sisters sang a song "come all you unfaithful". I invite you to listen to it sometime this week, it is such a good song!

First Week Of The Last Transfer

This is the first week of my last transfer. I can't believe it! Where did the time go? Sister Drury and I are staying together as Visitors Center Trainers and I could not be more excited. It's going to be a great last 6 weeks. Highs/Lows of the week: ☆We had our first lesson with Kennedy this week and it went so so well. She is such a faithful person. Her boyfriend, who is a member, was telling us that she is always encouraging him to go to church. Kennedy was so cute and took notes throughout the whole lesson so she wouldn't forget anything ☆There was THE BIGGEST SPIDER I have ever seen at the Visitors Center. I am sure it could have eaten me if it was hungry enough. One of the senior Elders was so brave and killed it for us. He is a true life saver ☆We got a shipment in of the Book of Mormon in Navajo. 1st edition! Yummiest Taco Soup Ever!

Highs/Lows from the week: ☆I had interviews with President Bassett yesterday and it was great ☆we saw a spider tie up a fly then kill it. Kinda cool but it was inside our house so then we vacuumed them both up. RIP the fly ☆lots of exchanges ☆One of our members girlfriend wants to take the lessons so we are excited to start teaching her ☆everytime we cook we get a million flies in our house. I think there might be a hole in the window screen. ☆we gave a tour to a lady named Elizabeth at the visitors center and at the end of the tour she says "so is there a place I can go to learn more?" Why yes Elizabeth, there is a place you can go to learn more.:) She wasn't interested in staying in contact with us but we gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon and showed her the church's website.
