Mission Updates
My mom just let me know that she is making a book out of all my emails i send on my mission. I think that was just her way of making me write one every week. Here are some updates from the past 2 weeks:)
-we went to get our tires rotated and oil changed in our car and they forgot to put all the tools away that they used. We drove like a mile then realized the loud noise our car was making was a wrench attached to the bottom of our car
-someone came into the Visitors Center and told me where the Mormons come from. In case anyone was wondering we come from Germany and we don't use electricity in Canada. Now I know for when the next person asks me
-we had more lessons with Kawehi and we taught him the Plan of Salvation and asked him to pray about a baptism date. He has such a desire to be baptized!
-played pickle ball as a district and I was SOO GOOD!! I've decided I'm going to go pro
-did serve for members and they had the CUTEST pet duck. It's name is Mingming
-our power went out Sunday morning and all our freezer food was ruined
-the gecko was back but this time it brought a friend...and the friend came inside. not cool. if anyone has any name suggestions for my pet gecko drop them down in the comments
-there was some crazy rain this week
-Elder Soares came and spoke to the mission on Saturday. I got to shake his hand and it was so cool! The main theme of his talk was being committed to the gospel. Sometimes we won't always see the results from our commitment but we shouldn't let that be a reason to doubt our efforts. "When you have done your very best you will still experience disappointment, but you won't be disappointed in yourself and God won't be disappointed in you."
I get transfer news this Saturday and I think some things are going to change for me, I will let you know
I am so greatful for all of the support I have felt from all of you these past 4 months. Thank you all so much!
