I Hate Coming With Captions

The Visitors Center carpets were being cleaned this week so we had to walk around barefoot our whole shift. I think I have grown accustomed to taking my shoes off whenever I am inside so I thought it was so fun


We had so many amazing lessons this week with our friends and our members


The best part of my week was that my grandma is in town! I got to give a tram tour go my grandma, aunt/uncle, and cousin and it was so fun! I was shaking when I saw them cause I was so excited haha. I also got to go to dinner with them last night and my little cousin kept saying "in starving for ice cream!" So obviously we had to go get ice cream after so she wouldn't starve


A kid from Kahuku, Iam Tongi, has made it into the top 3 finalists on American Idol and her is here on the north shore to film his home town. All the locals are going crazy showing there Kahuku pride


At Zone Confrence this week we focused a lot on Obedience, Forgiveness, and Charity. These are 3 things that I have been personally working on this transfer so it was so cool to be able to discuss it as a zone. In Mosiah 2:41 it says "And moreover, I would desire that ye should consider on the blessed and happy state of those that keep the commandments of God. For behold, they are blessed in all things, both temporal and spiritual; and if they hold out faithful to the end they are received into heaven, that thereby they may dwell with God in a state of never-ending happiness. O remember, remember that these things are true; for the Lord God hath spoken it." God had given us commandments not because he wants to make our life's harder but because he wants us to be happy and as we keep his commandments he has promised us that we will be blessed and happy. 


I invite you to pick something you can be more obedient at this week, I promise you that you will notice more blessings in your life:)

First Week Of The Last Transfer

This is the first week of my last transfer. I can't believe it! Where did the time go? Sister Drury and I are staying together as Visitors Center Trainers and I could not be more excited. It's going to be a great last 6 weeks. Highs/Lows of the week: ☆We had our first lesson with Kennedy this week and it went so so well. She is such a faithful person. Her boyfriend, who is a member, was telling us that she is always encouraging him to go to church. Kennedy was so cute and took notes throughout the whole lesson so she wouldn't forget anything ☆There was THE BIGGEST SPIDER I have ever seen at the Visitors Center. I am sure it could have eaten me if it was hungry enough. One of the senior Elders was so brave and killed it for us. He is a true life saver ☆We got a shipment in of the Book of Mormon in Navajo. 1st edition! Yummiest Taco Soup Ever!

Highs/Lows from the week: ☆I had interviews with President Bassett yesterday and it was great ☆we saw a spider tie up a fly then kill it. Kinda cool but it was inside our house so then we vacuumed them both up. RIP the fly ☆lots of exchanges ☆One of our members girlfriend wants to take the lessons so we are excited to start teaching her ☆everytime we cook we get a million flies in our house. I think there might be a hole in the window screen. ☆we gave a tour to a lady named Elizabeth at the visitors center and at the end of the tour she says "so is there a place I can go to learn more?" Why yes Elizabeth, there is a place you can go to learn more.:) She wasn't interested in staying in contact with us but we gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon and showed her the church's website.
