No Titles

Titling my emails is actually my least favorite thing I do all week so from now on all my titles will be emojis


My friend Keith that I met at our online teaching center, who I met back in March, is finally on date! He has been patiently waiting for the all clear for him to get baptized and he is so excited that it is finally happening! His date is set for September 9th so everyone keep him in your prayers.


We got caught in a down pour while we were working out this week. It honestly was so fun and if we weren't worried about our phones getting ruined we would have just stayed and embraced the rain. 


One of the many things I get to do in my mission is give virtual tours of the temple grounds and the visitors center. I have never advertised them because I hate doing them. I don't actually HATE them but I am very bad at them. Normally you give at least one every 6 weeks, or one a transfer, but somehow I have managed to go 6 months without having to give one. Because I am training a new sister right now I knew it was just a matter of time before I got asked to give a tour so I asked my parents to sign up for one so I could practice on them. They were so nice to bare with me as I struggled through out the 45 minute tour. I would rate myself a solid 6.5/10.


BYU-H's ward boundries are swiching next week and I am so excited! I will finally have more then 14 people in my wards!


For District Council this week I centered our discussion on Christlike Attributes. I love learning about the attributes of Christ! In Ether 12:41 it says "And now, I would commend you to seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written, that the grace of God the Father, and also the Lord Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, which beareth record of them, may be and abide in you forever. Amen." One way we are able to seek Jesus is by trying to become more like Him. As we are trying to become more like Him we come to know who He is what His role is in our life on a deeper level. I would invite all of you to pick an attribute of Christ that you think you can improve on and study it this week. I promise you that you will feel God's hand in your life more as you are trying to become more like Christ.

First Week Of The Last Transfer

This is the first week of my last transfer. I can't believe it! Where did the time go? Sister Drury and I are staying together as Visitors Center Trainers and I could not be more excited. It's going to be a great last 6 weeks. Highs/Lows of the week: ☆We had our first lesson with Kennedy this week and it went so so well. She is such a faithful person. Her boyfriend, who is a member, was telling us that she is always encouraging him to go to church. Kennedy was so cute and took notes throughout the whole lesson so she wouldn't forget anything ☆There was THE BIGGEST SPIDER I have ever seen at the Visitors Center. I am sure it could have eaten me if it was hungry enough. One of the senior Elders was so brave and killed it for us. He is a true life saver ☆We got a shipment in of the Book of Mormon in Navajo. 1st edition! Yummiest Taco Soup Ever!

Highs/Lows from the week: ☆I had interviews with President Bassett yesterday and it was great ☆we saw a spider tie up a fly then kill it. Kinda cool but it was inside our house so then we vacuumed them both up. RIP the fly ☆lots of exchanges ☆One of our members girlfriend wants to take the lessons so we are excited to start teaching her ☆everytime we cook we get a million flies in our house. I think there might be a hole in the window screen. ☆we gave a tour to a lady named Elizabeth at the visitors center and at the end of the tour she says "so is there a place I can go to learn more?" Why yes Elizabeth, there is a place you can go to learn more.:) She wasn't interested in staying in contact with us but we gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon and showed her the church's website.
