Counting Sheep
School started this week at BYU-H which means we finally have students here on campus! I am so happy to have more then 3 doors to knock on every day. I have loved to getting to meet all the new students in our wards!
Because the new school year has started our ward meeting times have changed. Both of our wards now meet at the same time. My companion and I running back and forth between both of our wards on Sunday was so stressful.
I went on an exchange with a sister in my district, Sister Tai. She is so AMAZING and we had so much fun.
My friend Keith, who I talked about a couple weeks ago, has to wait another 6 months for baptism:( I was really sad to hear that news but while I was talking to him this week he was very optimistic and had a very positive attitude about the whole situation. He has been such an amazing example to me of patience.
The past couple of weeks I have had a lot of random anxiety. It keeps me up most night thinking about the most random things. One night while I was trying to fall asleep a verse from John came into my mind. It says, "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." As I have been studying the Atonement I have really come to know that it is through Jesus Christ that we can find peace and hope. Even through I continued to feel the anxiety, as I thought about that scripture and Jesus Christ I could feel comfort in knowing that I am not alone and Christ knows what I am feeling.
Love you all! If anyone has any tips on how calm the mind at night send them my way! I feel like I have tried everything.
