Miracles

Aloha!

Lately I have been really focusing on asking the guests at the Visitors Center inspired questions that will help me connect with them. Since I have been doing this I have seen so many miracles! One in particular was yesterday. We had a couple come in asking what scriptures we read from. We told them that we read from the king james version of the Bible and a book of scripture called the Book of Mormon. They had only heard of the book so we show them the Book of Mormon corner where they listened to a recording of Moronis promise (Moroni 10:3-5). My companion then bore a beautiful testimony of how the Book of Mormon has blessed her life. The couple really loved how Moroni's promise talks about turning to God with our questions. We can find examples in the Book of Mormon and the Bible where people turned to God when they had questions and God answered them. Both books of scriptures are witnesses of Jesus Christ's gospel and life. As we were finishing up the tour with this couple the husband told us that because of the positive interaction he had with us he was going to go find a Book of Mormon and read it. He was very happy to hear we gave them to people for free as gifts.

This interaction reminded me of President Nelson's talk "Peacemaker Needed". In his talk President Nelson says "As you demonstrate the charity that true followers of Jesus Christ manifest, the Lord will magnify your efforts beyond your loftiest imagination." I have noticed as I have been focusing on connecting with the guest in the Visitors Center first and teaching 2nd people are more interested to hear what I have to say and the spirit enters the conversation quicker.

With it being General Conference this weekend now is the perfect time to have your questions answered! Study the scripture, pray, and I promise that as you tune into General Conference you will find answers to your questions.
