Mom And Dad, I Have Been Seeing Other Parents

We had stake conference and zone conference at the beginning of this week and it wiped me out! I have been spiritually drained all week long. 


The past couple of days I have referred alot of people over to there local missionaries at the online teaching center. So far nothing had come out of any of them but hopefully some of them will start progressing soon.


Highlight from this week was seeing Mom and Dad 2.0(Marie and Chris). I got to give them a tour of the Visitors Center and we went out to lunch today. First time seeing them in over a year I about peed my pants I was so excited to see them! 


Not lots happened this week, the Visitors Center was slow and we didn't have very many appointments with members but we did lots of knocking on the students Hales. I feel like I am finally at a place in these wards where I am starting to feel comfortable and know the students. That probably means I'm getting moved soon.


One verse I read in my studies this week was Mosiah 26:30 "Yea, and as often as my people repent will I forgive them their trespasses against me." Isn't that so cool that no matter how many times we mess up we can always turn back to Christ and be forgiven. I think repentance is such an amazing gift we have been given, I could probably utilize it more in my life.

First Week Of The Last Transfer

This is the first week of my last transfer. I can't believe it! Where did the time go? Sister Drury and I are staying together as Visitors Center Trainers and I could not be more excited. It's going to be a great last 6 weeks. Highs/Lows of the week: ☆We had our first lesson with Kennedy this week and it went so so well. She is such a faithful person. Her boyfriend, who is a member, was telling us that she is always encouraging him to go to church. Kennedy was so cute and took notes throughout the whole lesson so she wouldn't forget anything ☆There was THE BIGGEST SPIDER I have ever seen at the Visitors Center. I am sure it could have eaten me if it was hungry enough. One of the senior Elders was so brave and killed it for us. Yummiest Taco Soup Ever!

Highs/Lows from the week: ☆I had interviews with President Bassett yesterday and it was great ☆we saw a spider tie up a fly then kill it. Kinda cool but it was inside our house so then we vacuumed them both up. RIP the fly ☆lots of exchanges ☆One of our members girlfriend wants to take the lessons so we are excited to start teaching her ☆everytime we cook we get a million flies in our house. I think there might be a hole in the window screen. ☆we gave a tour to a lady named Elizabeth at the visitors center and at the end of the tour she says "so is there a place I can go to learn more?" Why yes Elizabeth, there is a place you can go to learn more.:) She wasn't interested in staying in contact with us but we gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon and showed her the church's website.
