Green Dotted

You would think the longer I am out the easier it would be to write my email. Nope. In case anyone is wondering, I will not be majoring in writing when I go back to school

I got to go on exchanges with Sister Scott this week. She is the sweetest and most down to earth person ever. Before she came out on the mission she was in the National Guard which is kinda cool! Her job was to load cannons!

Our members made us dinner yesterday! That has got to be one of the things I miss the most from being in my family ward, the member meals. For some reason people are more willing to open up when food is involved.

My friend at the Teaching Center, Daniel, is on date to be baptism November 19th! Honestly I don't know much about him. I talked to him back in September but he spoke mostly Spanish so I sent him over to him local missionaires and he has progressed quickly. A cool miracle I saw at the TC this week was with my friend Kamazi. He speaks French and Swahili but the missionaries I was sending him to don't speak French or Swahili. I was pretty disappointed because he doesn't understand English so I didn't know how it would go with his locals. Turns out, the ward he is in has a member that speaks French and another member that speaks Swahili! They have been joining in on his lessons with the missionaires and have been such a miracle! Gods hand is in all things! Please keep Daniel and Kamazi in your prayers.

A scripture I liked this week was 3 Nephi 5:13,

"Behold, I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. I have been called of him to declare his word among his people, that they might have everlasting life."

Such a fire verse! I found it while I was at the Visitors Center yesterday and then today I saw that it's going to be the youth theme for 2024. #revelation. The coolest part about serving at a Visitors Center has got to be that I get to teach people from all over the world about how we can have everlasting life! We have people come in that come from places where they will never have missionaries knock on there door or run into them on the street. I feel so blessed that I have the privilege to help them feel God's love.

I'm looking for comforting scriptures to share with guests that come into the Visitors Center. What is your go to comfort scripture from the Bible or Book of Mormon?

Love you all!
Xoxo, Sister Jensen
