Aloha
Not much happened in the last 4 days but here are some of the Highs and Lows of the week:
☆so many lights have been burnt out at the Visitors Center and they finally replaced them. It's so much brighter inside and it looks great!
☆we gave a tour to a cute couple from Utah. They aren't members of the church which is always so surprising to me but they said they love all the temples in Utah so they just had to stop and see the one here in Laie. They didn't even have the temple planned in their itinerary but they had to add it in. It's cool to see that people of all faiths recognize the importance of temples.
☆Sister Drury and I went to the temple today and it was so so great. The AC was out though and the celestial room was 80° They ended up canceling the session after us so it was a tender mercy we were able to go.
☆I got to teach Elders Quorum on Sunday. Never thought I would do that
☆all the power was out on the north shore yesterday. It was out for about 3 hours. We almost had to close the VC early but it came back on just in time. Miracles!
☆we got together with all the missionaries in our zone for a stake correlation led by our stake president. He had all the departing missionaries get up and bare their testimonies. I think that was the first time it really hit me that I am going home soon. Ahh so crazy!
A special moment I had this week: We took a second during the last hour of one of our Visitors Center shifts to listen to the Christus narration with all the Sister missionaries on shift. As I was listening to the words of Jesus Christ from the scriptures I felt an overwhelming amount of love from my Savior. It was only a short moment but I felt it so strongly. So often I am reminding others of the love Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for them. That Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ know them perfectly. While I was listening the the Christus narration that night though, I felt that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me and know me perfectly. I have a hard time remembering Their love for me so I am greatful for that little moment I had that night.
God knows each of you individually. He loves you.
I love you all!
Xoxo,
Sister Jensen
