Life Update + Homecoming Info!

I will remind you all as it gets closer but I will be giving my homecoming talk on February 25th @10:30. I would love to see you all there if you can come:) The address is:

My P day got moved to Thursday this week because we had Zone Confrence on Tuesday. I would say it was the perfect last Zone Confrence. It was all focused on The House of the Lord and how it binds families together for eternity. Something that President Afoka (the Laie Hawaii Temple President) said to us that really stood out to me was "We go to the temple to do the work for those who can't do it for themselves, and in return they do work for us that we can't do for ourselves." I have definitley felt the help of my ancestors while I have been out here serving my mission. Its so cool that we can recieve that strength through those who have already passed on.


Highs/Lows of the Week:
☆Zone Conference was obviously a high for the week:)
☆The electricity at the Visitors Center was out for 5 day and it was the SADDEST thing ever!! We weren't able to bring guests inside at all! We spent those days walking the temple grounds and let me just tell you, it's alot harder to trap guests to talk to you outside where there is more space
☆Sister Drury and I led a mission wide training which was so scary but it went soo well
☆I got sick:(
☆My temple postcard shipment came in and it is beautiful
☆We went to FHE this week and I had a blast!
☆Uncle William bought me cinnamon rolls! MY FAVORITE!
☆I got to go on exchanges with Sister Roskelley at the Visitors Center and it was a blast to be companions again! Our last time being comps

First Week Of The Last Transfer

This is the first week of my last transfer. I can't believe it! Where did the time go? Sister Drury and I are staying together as Visitors Center Trainers and I could not be more excited. It's going to be a great last 6 weeks. Highs/Lows of the week: ☆We had our first lesson with Kennedy this week and it went so so well. She is such a faithful person. Her boyfriend, who is a member, was telling us that she is always encouraging him to go to church. Kennedy was so cute and took notes throughout the whole lesson so she wouldn't forget anything ☆There was THE BIGGEST SPIDER I have ever seen at the Visitors Center. I am sure it could have eaten me if it was hungry enough. One of the senior Elders was so brave and killed it for us. He is a true life saver ☆We got a shipment in of the Book of Mormon in Navajo. 1st edition! Yummiest Taco Soup Ever!

Highs/Lows from the week: ☆I had interviews with President Bassett yesterday and it was great ☆we saw a spider tie up a fly then kill it. Kinda cool but it was inside our house so then we vacuumed them both up. RIP the fly ☆lots of exchanges ☆One of our members girlfriend wants to take the lessons so we are excited to start teaching her ☆everytime we cook we get a million flies in our house. I think there might be a hole in the window screen. ☆we gave a tour to a lady named Elizabeth at the visitors center and at the end of the tour she says "so is there a place I can go to learn more?" Why yes Elizabeth, there is a place you can go to learn more.:) She wasn't interested in staying in contact with us but we gave her a copy of the Book of Mormon and showed her the church's website.
