This Thanksgiving i am grateful for eternal families. God truly is so loving to provide a way for us to be with our families forever. Sometimes I wonder if I am expressing my gratitude to others enough. I was looking back on the talk from this past general conference called "Hallmarks of Happiness". In the talk he says "How our awareness would change if every morning we awoke with only the blessings we were grateful for the night before." I don't think I tell people very often that I am grateful for them and I don't think I always express to God how grateful I am for all that He has given me. Soooo this week I am going to focus on expressing gratitude it every interaction I have. I invite you to do the same:) I would love to know how it goes. I have less than 100 days left as a missionary. Wild! Highs/Lows of the week: ☆I went to make granola and when I opened my oats it was filled with bugs! so sad ☆I bought new oats and made granola and it was delicious! ☆my huge bag of pancake mix was also filled with bugs. RIP ☆One of my members is from Australia and she said when I get home she will hit me up with an Australia man for me to marry ☆My friend from my last area(H2 best ward!) got baptized last Saturday! *Our members made us Adobo(a filipino dish) ☆I had intrviews with President Bassett and it was much needed ☆Sister Roskelley and I had so many amazing tours at the Visitors Center this week! ☆We made lots of hand turkeys with our members this week. ☆as a mission we cleaned the fountain in front of the Visitors Center. I can confidently say it was every sisters dream to climb into the fountain The weather has dropped down from 80° to 70° this week and I have been so cold. I wrote up this whole email last week and forgot to send it. Sorry. I hit 14 months this week! Honestly I forgot about it till someone wished me a happy month mark at the very end of the night. High/Lows from the week: ☆We got to meet with so many of our members this week! Big success! ☆We ate buiscuts Figian style with our members. Buiscut(cracker) with butter and nutella on top. They also made us try a spoonful of powdered milk. It was weird. I don't think I would recommend. ☆Went to foodfest this week and tried yummy food from all over the world. ☆Finally got in contact with Keith and got to share a message with him.  ☆I keep having dreams that I am home from the mission. My brain needs to calm down, I still have 3½ months left! ☆We gave a tour to a couple at the Visitors Center, the wifes name is Pamela Anderson. The husband is a member but Pamela isn't. On Wednesday my mission president sent out a text to the mission telling us there was a fire west of the temple! Kinda crazy! Everything is all good but it has definitely given me a greater appreciation for the time that I get to serve here. Highs/Lows from the week: ☆my friend Keith's phone is broken so I can't talk to him:( ☆none of our members ever want to talk to us when we go knock on their doors so during ward coordination we spent a good 30 minutes letting them tell us why people don't want to talk to the missionaries. It was pretty awkward but also led to a good discussion ☆Zone Confrence was this week! We talked about strengthening our relationships with Jesus Christ. They had all of the District Leaders(which means me:)) stand around the room and read The Living Christ then we each shared our testimony of Him ☆We gave a tour at the Visitor Center to a lady from North Carolina.
