This week has been crazy! Sister Drury left on Tuesday and ever since then things have just not slowed down! I'm spending the last week of my mission on a trio! I have always hated the idea of being in a trio but I am having a blast! Sister Whitehead & Argyle are the cutest:) We are now covering 2 wards and I'm VC Trainer by myself:/ so so busy! It's actually so fun though! The other day I was on exchanges with Sister Boyle and we had the coolest guys come in 10 minutes before the Visitors Center closed! Jason from Switzerland and Sven from Germany. Both are here in Hawaii as exchange students. They decided they wanted to ride around the island of Oahu on mopeds. Sounds like a fun and cute idea right? Mopeds aren't the best form of travel and over heat. Meaning, every 45 minutes Sven and Jason needed to stop to allow their scooters time to cool down. They just happened to be at the 45 minute mark as they were passing the temple. When they walked into the Visitors C...

The last 4 day have been absolutely wild! On Sunday we got a surprise visit from our mission president and his wife at our pad. Turns out, my companions Dad has an unexpected health emergency that requires surgery later this week. Because of this, instead of her leave next week with me, she is flying home today. Please keep her and her family in your prayers. We spent most the week doing fun activities that I will be doing again later this week with the rest of the departing sisters. We got to go to the Polynesian Culture Center(the night show was UNREAL!), we had an Aloha Oe in our ward, and we went out to eat at all the yummy places. God really is so aware of me. We went on a campus walk this week to share scriptures with our members and we ran into so many people from my past wards. I have been a little worried about being able to say all my goodbyes to my past members but God has been putting them in my path this whole week. We had our last lesson with Kennedy at the Visitors ...

Not much happened in the last 4 days but here are some of the Highs and Lows of the week: ☆so many lights have been burnt out at the Visitors Center and they finally replaced them. It's so much brighter inside and it looks great! ☆we gave a tour to a cute couple from Utah. They aren't members of the church which is always so surprising to me but they said they love all the temples in Utah so they just had to stop and see the one here in Laie. They didn't even have the temple planned in their itinerary but they had to add it in. It's cool to see that people of all faiths recognize the importance of temples. ☆Sister Drury and I went to the temple today and it was so so great. The AC was out though and the celestial room was 80° They ended up canceling the session after us so it was a tender mercy we were able to go. ☆I got to teach Elders Quorum on Sunday. Never thought I would do that ☆all the power was out on the north shore yesterday. It was out for about 3 hours. We a...

I will remind you all as it gets closer but I will be giving my homecoming talk on February 25th @10:30. I would love to see you all there if you can come:) The address is: 680 North 350 West American Fork, Utah 84003 My P day got moved to Thursday this week because we had Zone Confrence on Tuesday. I would say it was the perfect last Zone Confrence. It was all focused on The House of the Lord and how it binds families together for eternity. Something that President Afoka (the Laie Hawaii Temple President) said to us that really stood out to me was "We go to the temple to do the work for those who can't do it for themselves, and in return they do work for us that we can't do for ourselves." I have definitley felt the help of my ancestors while I have been out here serving my mission. Its so cool that we can recieve that strength through those who have already passed on. Highs/Lows of the Week: ☆Zone Conference was obviously a high for the week:) ☆The electricity at ...
